NPU Leadership
Real World Expertise
Non-Profit University is led by President Michael Curtis, a seasoned nonprofit leader with 16+ years of experience in community service, organizational development, and education. He earned a B.S. in Resource Economics and an M.S. in Business (Entrepreneurship) from the University of Florida.
Michael’s background spans the pharmaceutical, insurance, logistics, higher education, and nonprofit sectors, serving as a volunteer, staff member, executive director, and board member. He has helped secure $10M+ in funding from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors.
With 10+ years teaching college-level courses—including entrepreneurship, small business management, and finance—Michael blends creative strategy with practical instruction to help nonprofit leaders grow strong, sustainable organizations worldwide.
