Real World Expertise
Our leader is no stranger to serving in the community. With over 16 years of nonprofit experience; that value is added to everything that is offered here at NPU. Mike Curtis is the University President and has an earned undergraduate degree in Resource Economics and a Masters in Business with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida. His professional career has led him all across cities throughout America.
Mike has held various positions within nonprofits throughout his career. Holding volunteer, paid staff, executive director and board positions with multi-million-dollar nonprofits. He has assisted Post-Secondary Institutions win grants and develop programs that have benefited thousands of people throughout the state of Florida and beyond. He has successfully assisted previous students and clients receive over $10 million in funding from Private Foundations, Governmental Agencies, and Corporate Sponsors.
Mike is an educator with over 10 years of teaching experience at the Post Secondary level. Subjects taught include: Intro to Entrepreneurship, Small Business Management, Finance, Customer Relations for Managers and more. His leadership experience and classroom experience is what sets NPU apart from others. Mike is the driver for the success of NPU. His ability to execute and results driven, solution based approach to challenges will lead NPU into the future as an industry leader that founders and organizations around the world trust and depend on.
